Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are between you and SlabCEO, the registered business name of the entity trading under ABN 80 474 734 974 ("we", "us", "our"). By using the SlabCEO service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
SlabCEO is an online registry and portfolio tool for trading cards. It lets you record raw cards, track cards through third-party grading, view live price estimates for graded cards, and review the performance of your collection. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have the authority to bind the organisation on whose behalf you are using it.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You must not allow anyone else to use your account, and you must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to:
- using the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- fraud, spam, or deceptive activity, including inflating or fabricating card values or ownership;
- infringing the intellectual property rights of others, including card images or trademarks;
- interfering with the security of the service, including probing, scanning, or introducing malware, or attempting to access data you are not authorised to access;
- scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the service without our written consent.
4. Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own the service, including its software, design, documentation, branding, and content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal or business collection tracking, in accordance with the plan you have selected. You must not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent any technical limits of the service. You grant us a limited licence to host and process the data and images you upload solely to provide the service to you.
5. Price estimates
Live price estimates are drawn from third-party market data and are provided for general information only. They are not a quote, valuation, or investment advice, and we make no guarantee that any estimate reflects a price you will actually receive when selling. You are responsible for verifying values before relying on them.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Payments for paid plans are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
7. Service level
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of temporary unavailability for maintenance. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you are in material breach of these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. Where access ends, you may export or delete your data during any notice period we provide; we may delete your data after a reasonable period where required.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, except where liability cannot be lawfully excluded (for example, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
You indemnify us against claims arising from content you upload, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.
10. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Events beyond our reasonable control excuse performance while they last.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
